TicBits turns 3!

Hey everyone and first off sorry for the long delay in-between posts. But rest assured we're FAAAR from dead. We've got some exciting news to share in honor of TicBits turning 3 today!

Hope you're ready because here we go...

WordStrike

First off, today we're happy to show off our latest game! It's a new word association game called Word Strike. In Word Strike you're presented with four words and a bunch of letters. It's now your job to guess what word associates to these four words.

Word Strike

Can you guess what associates to Man's Best Friend, Bone, Woof and Cat? ;)

Word Strike is available for free the AppStore, it's a universal app so the same app works on the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. Get it from here "Word Strike @ AppStore" and let us know what you think!

iAssociate 3

It's time to let the cat out of the bag, or in this case, the owl. Ever since last year's summer we've had something brewing in our office: iAssociate 3. Yes, it's coming and it's coming soon.

iAssociate 3

With iAssociate 3 we're building the best iAssociate experience. We couldn't be more excited about iAssociate 3 and can't wait to show more of it. It'll be available at launch for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.

In the meantime, if there's anything you'd want to see in iAssociate 3, let us know either by posting in the comment field below or emailing us at info@ticbits.com!

That's it for now. But until next time, go on and download Word Strike! ;)

Fall update

Hi guys, thought I'd take this moment to share what's going on at TicBits.

We started the company in the spring of 2010, just two guys with a passion to create games who wanted to build a sustainable business out of it.

During 2010 our main focus was on iAssociate 2, a game that we've been updating ever since and have recently added some good VoiceOver features after we found out that there's a community that love the game with low-vision, and this is something we'll continue to improve.

In 2011, our focus was on making games we knew people would like, games like Sudoku and Mahjong, while learning as much as we could about the industry and making games. These games turned out really well and in total we've now got more than 5 million downloads. Our success has also enabled us to grow to the amazing team that we've got today. And every game we publish teaches us something that makes the following game even better.

This brings us to 2012. This year we've launched some beautiful titles. During the late summer we released Cruel Jewels and Unblock :) that have been well received by gamers all around the globe. But, best of all, we've now gotten to a point where we're both confident enough, and have the resources required, to take on much bigger projects.

Currently we've got our three largest projects to date under production and we can't wait show them. And I'm quite confident we'll be able to show off at least one of the games soon.

Unblock :) is out!

Our latest game Unblock :) is out! It's a puzzle/board game featuring beautiful graphics and lots of puzzles, and as usual it's free! It's available for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. It comes with stunning retina iPad graphics and also takes advantage of the iPhone 5's larger screen.

Get it now and let us know what you think!

New game to be released on October 8, 2012

We're excited to announce our next game will be out on October 8, 2012!

It's a game named Unblock :) where you have to slide rock pieces to remove a key piece. It comes with a whole lot of levels that even challenges the most experienced players. We put a lot of effort into making this game feel really good and it plays like a dream. It also looks amazing!

So - remember to save the date! :)

Our new website has launched!

After some extremely productive days, I'm happy to announce our new website to the world!

TicBits website has once before been redone, that was in the early days of the company, back in the spring of 2010. It was at that time remade from a really plain website to work well with the launch of iAssociate 2. Since then A LOT has happend. We've moved to a bigger office twice and even had a wall torn down to make room for our ever growing team. We've launched 9 games in total as well as grown to a headcount of 9. We couldn't be more excited about the future of our company!

This new website was recreated from scratch to reflect what the company has become.

Hope you like it!
